Tyneside Pregnancy Advice Centre offers a free, confidential and friendly advice service.
The aim of Tyneside Pregnancy Advice Centre is to provide information, advice and support for women facing unplanned pregnancy in Newcastle, Gateshead and the wider areas of Tyneside and Northumberland.
In line with its Christian ethos, Tyneside Pregnancy Advice Centre is committed to providing a caring, compassionate and professional service to pregnant women and their families.
Tyneside Pregnancy Advice Centre recognises the value of each individual and does not discriminate against anyone on grounds of disability, race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
All advisors (on the Helpline and in the Centre) are trained in crisis pregnancy advice and receive ongoing supervision, training and development. Ultrasound scanning is performed by qualified staff who are fully trained in early pregnancy ultrasound.
Tyneside Pregnancy Advice Centre is not an abortion provider and does not make referrals to any abortion providers. However, Tyneside Pregnancy Advice Centre is committed to showing care and compassion towards women who have chosen to terminate their pregnancy and go on to experience negative consequences.
Tyneside Pregnancy Advice Centre is run by a registered Christian charity (charity number 1119712). It was established by a group of health professionals in Newcastle in 2007, and is funded by voluntary donations.
